Software Architecture
This topic is really broad and it is difficult to get a handle on how to wade through the large amount of material. I have put together a Software Architecture Syllabus that is a self-guided study on the topic as a large annotated bibliography with some narrative.
Software Product Line Engineering
The site at softwareproductlines.com is always a useful reference more some of the commercial aspects of Software Product Line Engineering.
I recommend the two books on the subject that I have found to be useful. The practical book by David Weiss and the normative reference from the Software Engineering Institute. I have also co-authored a paper that was published in Lecture Notes of Computer Science that eventually was granted a patent on the subject.
Lastly, the proceedings of the international Software Product Line Conference are available and are listed at SPLC.net.
